The Governor's Mansion in Madison is home to the reviled Crawley Faction, commonly known as "The Crawlers", in town. No one aside from the Crawlers have ever been inside.
Shortly after the fecal matter hit the rotary oscillator, Crawley's goons tightened their grip on the property. Teams were sent out and came back with as many supplies as they could take from the area, sometimes stymied by the military, usually stealing from frightened residents. They also took as many treasures as they could find from across the state. Many missing treasures are said to now reside in the Governor's Mansion.
